We collect information you provide directly — resume content, job descriptions, and account details (name, email) via Clerk authentication. We also collect usage data (feature usage counts) to enforce free-tier limits.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your resume and job description content is sent to AI APIs (Google Gemini, OpenRouter) solely to generate your requested output. We do not store resume content in our database — it exists only in your browser session. Account and usage data is stored to manage your plan and enforce limits.

3. Data Sharing

We share data with trusted service providers only as necessary to operate Rezly:

• Clerk — authentication and user management
• Stripe — payment processing (we never see your card details)
• Google / OpenRouter — AI content generation
• Neon / Vercel — database and hosting infrastructure

We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Cookies

We use cookies set by Clerk for authentication session management. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

5. Data Retention

Account and usage data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Resume content typed into our tools is not stored server-side.

6. Security

All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. We follow security best practices and rely on industry-leading providers (Clerk, Stripe, Neon) for sensitive data storage.
